literally circular movement – is a yoga concept for fitness, flexibility, muscle tightening and better posture. It trains the spine, abdominal and pelvic muscles with the effect that the spine becomes more supple, the back pain-free and you yourself become pleasantly relaxed. Movements become rounder and you forget the stiff desk position after a while.
„When you are thankful for life, grateful for everything that surrounds you, it manifests in a certain kind of feeling in your body an expression towards life.“ (Juliu Horvath, Creator of GYROTRONIC Expansion System®)

Relaxing, slow, easy to follow and changing Asanayoga postures are as much a part of Manuela’s Hatha Yoga class as various breathing exercises. Correct pelvic position for bending forward and backward, the sun salutation and correct breathing have a profound effect on body and mind. Through the harmony of breathing and movement, the execution of the exercises becomes harmonious. Breathing deepens, circulation and metabolism are stimulated. Breathing can significantly support muscle relaxation. A meditation at the end of the session rounds off the relaxed yoga session.
The roots of Thai Yoga lie in Indian Yoga and Ayurveda (= knowledge of life). Thai Yoga can look back on a 2200 year old tradition. The treatment takes place in comfortable clothing on a mat on the floor. Basically, the whole body is stretched, mobilized and relaxed using body weight with fingers, palms, elbows, knees and feet. The basic idea of traditional Indian Thai-Yoga bodywork is to allow the health-preserving effects of yoga to reach people in a passive form. Muscles, ligaments and tendons are loosened, joints freed and the connective tissue stimulated. with the effect of switching off mentally and thereby achieving a deep state of relaxation.
Manuela is a qualified Chladek®, GYROTONIC® und GYROKINESIS® teacher and NUAD THAI Practitioner. After training as contemporary and classical dancer in Vienna and Graz, she found her way to GYROTONIC Expansion System®. Today, she runs her own school in Graz, the „Bewegungsatelier Graz“.
“The goal of my teaching is to convey relief, mobility and joy in one’s own body.”
